Wellbeing in the Workplace

February 26 @ 10:00 am

Level: Suited to supervisors or managers who oversee a team of people. May be particularly useful for new, middle and senior managers.

Presenter: Leyla Okhai

Summary:
Wellbeing has become a more widely spoken about topic over the last five years. Many organisations have signed the Time to Change Pledge and Mental Health Workplace Charter. The term “”wellbeing”” covers several aspects of the way people feel about their lives, including their jobs and their relationships with the people around them. Research has shown that the way employers run a workplace can impact the individual’s sense of wellbeing. Wellbeing and productivity are interlinked, so by providing a positive environment, happy and productive teams will follow.
It is well known and documented that the key to successful teams and businesses is an open and healthy workplace. However, it is not always obvious how to integrate this into everyday work. This webinar will help delegates to support ther personal wellbeing and that of their colleagues and/or teams.

Learning Objectives:
⁃ Establish what positive and negative wellbeing looks like in the workplace
⁃ How to create an environment that supports wellbeing
⁃ How to support your own wellbeing
⁃ Create an action plan for your team

Remember – To participate, you will need to register for the session. Registration links will be sent to clients on the last Friday of the month for the forthcoming month.
